Established in 2019, the CRC grew out of extensive research and dedication at WVU. With generous support from the One Foundation, it has transformed into a prominent community-oriented learning center. A significant milestone was reached in Fall 2022 when the CRC attained academic recognition within WVU's Eberly College, solidifying its role. After a decade of development and three years of meticulous refinement, the CRC has unveiled a new, streamlined structure. This evolution is geared towards advancing higher education, promoting community-engaged research, and fostering leadership development. By leveraging the resources of a land grant institution, the CRC is committed to enhancing the well-being of local communities.
