The WVU Center for Resilient Communities is pleased to announce its annual graduate student summer grants opportunity from the Community Engaged Research Fund. The application portal is now open! ( Apply Here) Graduate students enrolled in any Eberly College program are eligible to apply.
The Community Engaged Research Fund supported by the Eberly College and the One Foundation provides summer scholarly enrichment awards up to $500 to support graduate students advancing a community engaged research project. These enrichment funds may be used to support fieldwork, planning, travel, outreach, materials expenses, and other costs associated with advancing a community engaged research project. We encourage appli cations from scholars of diverse backgrounds and experience to apply.
Applicants must submit a well-crafted research proposal, personal statement and budget brief by Monday March 10th @ 5:00pm. The elements required for the 2-3 page PDF package are included in the application form linked above. The CERF committee will begin reviewing applications on March 17th, with the goal of making award announcements in late March 2025. Awardee projects will be spotlighted and scholars are expected to participate in the CRC Spring Symposium on April 25th, 2025.
