Let's Grow Together – WVU Center for Resilient Communities
Eberly College of Arts & Sciences · West Virginia University
Launching March 21, 2026 — First Day of Spring

Let's Grow
Together.

A new initiative of the WVU Center for Resilient Communities, investing in the next generation of West Virginia leaders, scholars, and change-makers.

West Virginia Is Changing.
So Are We.

In West Virginia, we are navigating profound changes — economic, environmental, and demographic — that have created new challenges for residents in rural towns and cities, neighborhoods and hollows. Today, many in our communities are working together to reimagine more vibrant futures.

Local leaders, farmers, artists, educators, and community developers are creating new pathways and cultivating more resilient communities. Young people in particular are eager to contribute — if they are given the opportunity to learn, lead, and participate in shaping that future.

The Center for Resilient Communities (CRC) of the Eberly College of Arts and Sciences at WVU was founded to support this new generation of young people who want to make a difference. Through research apprenticeships, long-term project partnerships and leadership development, the CRC brings together students, scholars, and community partners to create practical solutions for West Virginia today.

Growing Hope, Together

"At its heart, the Let's Grow Together initiative is about more than supporting individual programs or projects. It is about cultivating a shared future for West Virginia — one rooted in opportunity, creativity, and care for the places we call home. We are growing hope — hope grounded not only in possibility, but in the everyday work of people across West Virginia who are already shaping vibrant futures for their communities."
