Six WVU Eberly College of Arts and Sciences students have been selected for
the first cohort of Community Leadership and Social Action Fellows at the Center
for Resilient Communities at West Virginia University.
The Community Leadership and Social Action Fellowship is intended for undergraduate
students who have demonstrated potential for contributing to transformative social
change in Appalachia. Students will receive a $3,000 stipend to complete a social
action project in communities across West Virginia. This community-based research
experience is coupled with training in collective inquiry research and mentorship
from community-based researchers.
